Vladimir K. Miletić, Faculty of Sport and Physical Education, University of Belgrade, Serbia

Vladimir K. Miletić, PhD (born 1976) is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education, University of Belgrade. He is the course coordinator for Outdoor Activities and actively contributes to the teaching of Orienteering and Theory and Methodology of Fundamental Games. He has also taught at the State University of Novi Pazar and the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education in Leposavić. He earned his PhD in 2018 from the National Sports Academy “Vasil Levski” in Sofia.

His professional career began as a teacher at the 13th Belgrade Gymnasium, followed by work as an expert consultant in the Sports Association of Serbia. He has participated in numerous camps, tours, expeditions, projects, and events related to outdoor activities. He is the founder of the Pro OUTDOOR Team and the eXtreme Research Team (ERT), and has served as editor-in-chief of the journal Return to Nature since 2015. He also founded the “DIF” Sokol Section and is a member of the editorial board of the Podgorica-based journal Putokaz.

He has collaborated on popular TV programs such as Sasvim prirodno and Avantura as a consultant, scriptwriter, and participant. He is President of the Expert Council of the “Sport for All” Association, a member of the Executive Board of the Serbian Rafting Association, a rafting coach at the “Gardoš” Water Sports and Recreation Club, and a consultant for the Mountaineering Club “Balkan.” He initiated the EKOD environmental protection project and serves on the Ecology Commission of the Serbian Rafting Association, as well as the Sustainability Committee of the International Rafting Federation (IRF, USA). He has participated in several EU Erasmus+ projects.

Dr. Miletić is the author of over 100 scientific and professional papers, multiple textbooks, manuals, monographs, a patent, and an educational documentary film. He has reviewed numerous scholarly works and books and served on more than 140 thesis and master’s committees—mentoring in over half of them.

He is married to Jovana and is the father of a daughter, Nada..
